In Between explores the transposition of architectural design principles to the human body : the body becomes a construction site for the designs.
Each creation is imagined as a dialogue between the area of the body it inhabits and the urban context. It is shaped by the city it represents, drawing inspiration from its history, architectural identity, and traditional materials.
Through shifts in scale, morphological parallels, and analogies between materials, these two worlds converge to generate a hybrid formal language at the intersection of anatomy and architecture.
In Between investigates a liminal territory, generating embodied structures situated between wearable objects and micro-architecture.
Artists
Trained as an architect, Agnès Indelicato developed a distinct perspective on the relationship between bodies and urban environments through her work on large-scale public infrastructures. Since 2015, her practice has expanded into craftsmanship — metal, textile, wood, leather, porcelain — each material becoming a new field of investigation. Her work explores the intersection of architecture and anatomy, drawing on their morphological correspondences.
