“In the heart of Bogotá, “Doble Espiral” has been launched, an exhibition that seeks to reconcile the past with the present. This offering is a gesture of healing and reconciliation, and a tribute to the Muisca ancestors.
For the Muisca people, gold, maize and emeralds were symbols of life and nature. Their art connected with the sacred and expressed love for the earth.
In “Doble Espiral”, colonial artefacts are pulverised and blended, where tumbaga, emeralds, gold and bronze regain their ancestral value.

This exhibition is a call to reflect on the past in order to work towards a future where an appreciation of culture and nature forms the basis of our relationship with the world.”
