Ten jewelry artists question the notion of weight through the prism of jewels. Freeing themselves from codes, playing with the plurality of perceptions, their ten crossed glances reinterpret the definition of weight, propose new ones, put in resonance the physical and symbolic aspects, the quantifiable and the immeasurable, the reality and the illusion. They examine the notions of limits and portability, of value and preciousness; they reveal the spiritual and metaphorical dimensions of weight to which the classical systems of measurement cannot apply.
